I like to call this home sale “the God shot.” It happened right after I returned from a month-long trip to Georgia. A top-tier Real estate agent had invited me to join her team, and I was seriously considering relocating. My friends, clients, and family weren’t thrilled about the idea, but I felt I had to explore the opportunity.
As soon as I got back to Long Beach, I didn’t even unpack before heading to Trader Joe’s to restock my fridge. Before I could step inside, one of the employees stopped me and said, “I need a favor.” Naturally, I said, “Of course—anything!” That’s when she asked me to sell her home.
That one sale turned into three more almost immediately, and it felt like a clear sign: I was meant to stay in Long Beach. Her trust reignited my sense of purpose, and since then, my business has flourished. I’m endlessly grateful to that angel at Trader Joe’s for reminding me I’m right where I belong. (Oh, and her home? Sold in a week, with multiple offers over asking. Just saying!)
